Something you might not know about us is that we LOVE a good workout. When Courtney, owner of The Barre Code - Mt. Pleasant, asked us to capture some photos of her new studio and staff, we were beyond excited! Leading a healthy lifestyle and finding fun ways to exercise is something we are passionate about, so being able to help others express that same passion through our photography is always a pleasure.

One of our favorite things about photographing this studio had to be the light, energizing feel of it. We loved the bright, white walls and the pops of color. It's definitely a great space to get motivated. The positive vibes don't end there, the instructors are also amazing to work with! Take a look and see what The Barre Code has to offer. Make sure to make the visit in person and try a class or two!

2017 holiday mini sessions

Planning our holiday mini sessions this year has been a whirlwind! We started working on a concept back in June, and it has brought us so much joy to see it all the way through. There were so many ideas floating around in ours heads, but we decided to go with a rustic barn scene set for a beautiful place like Charleston. We couldn't be happier with the results!

We definitely struck gold by having the opportunity to collaborate with The Stables at Boals Farm for our set location. Their staff was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with (and so were the horses). We are looking forward to capturing many weddings and family sessions there in the future! Thank you, Boals Farm!

Southern Vintage Mini Sessions are for everyone! We try to emphasize this the most each year. We love providing adorable props for the little ones, but always make sure to have plenty of scenery for all ages! Need new photos of you and your significant other? What about a family photo with your dog? Or maybe you just want some one-on-ones of your adorable toddler for the Christmas card? You got it! Here is a little taste of all the fun we got to capture during our Holiday Minis this year. We hope to see everyone again next year, and many more new faces!

stacey + kevin | summerville country club wedding

As photographers, we see a lot of beautiful weddings. From stunning venues to elegant decor, we are always blown away by the unique details our couples create for their special day. It’s all very magical, but the real magic (and what we love most) is getting to know our brides and grooms and the deep-rooted love they share.

It was especially fun to get to know Stacey and Kevin! The two were easy going, down-to-earth, and so fun to work with. Watching them interact and enjoy each other’s company during their one-on-one shots was our favorite part of the day (followed closely by our second favorite part, the epic sparkler exit)!

They had a gorgeous wedding with family and friends, but most importantly, with each other. We are so thankful we were able to be a part of their day. We can’t say enough about this pair, so we’ll just have to show you! :)
